Don't forget to stay after the credits!!! - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

Let's cut to the chase. I have never been a fan of any movie until the 3rd pirates film came out. It's that good. This movie was so filled with goodies that I'm going to see it for the 2nd time this weekend. The good things: -beautiful sets and scenes -creative ideas with Depp's character and set locations -action packed -great cinematography -breathtaking special effects -romance! -fantastic original music -humor! -colorful cast -great costumes ...tons of other great things this movie is packed with. Things that could be improved on: -time and film duration; those 167 minutes go by fast despite sitting for a while -plot is not streamlined; the producers let us "connect the dots" to draw our own conclusions- it really helps if you watch Pirates 1 & 2 beforehand -PG 13 rating on the line; the first 10 minutes can be scary for some young children So is Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End worth watching? Heck yes! POTC 3 is AWEsome(couldn't help myself). If you enjoyed POTC 1 or 2 you won't be disappointed in this one. The producers really deliver. DON'T FORGET TO STAY AFTER THE CREDITS!!! There's an extra scene you may not want to miss... those who didn't see the epilogue were not so satisfied...

Pirates 3: definitely at world's end - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

Okay so I just watched dead man's chest yesterday to refresh my memory and watched the 3rd installment tonight. I was very disappointed because this 3rd installment was just too long, too boring and had scenes that weren't needed in there. Johnny Depp was amazing as usual. I'm a girl so I love him as 99% of the women on earth do as well. The only problem was, YOU DO GET TIRED OF HIM TOO. The same people again and again 80% of the time in the movie.. who wouldn't get tired?? You'd only see the new faces such as the singaporean pirate and madame chinese something for like 10% of the movie and the rest was Davey Jones. There were soooooooo many plots that were empty. SPOILERS SO PLEASE IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED IT DO NOT READ THIS ONE 1) Calypso - When they released her, what's the point when she did nothing but became thousands of crabs and made an ocean whirlwind?? 2) Asking for help from the other pirates, when they did nothing during the battle itself?? 3) The captain just watching his ARMADA fail, when he could've just said 'FIRE' easily and both the dutchman and pearl would've been blown to pieces! Overall, the graphics were awesome, the story was good, the acting was awesome.. however MR DIRECTOR DID NOT DELIVER IT PROPERLY AND DID NOT DO HIS JOB AS WELL AS HE SHOULD'VE!!! OH AND HOW CHEESY THAT THEY GOT PIRATES 4 for an elixir of life... oh great!! more servings of elizabeth johnny and the like... my eyes are honestly sick of their faces. They should get new faces new leads new stories.. this is just getting toooooooooooooooo boring and old!

Is this a disney movie? - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

I think John Carpenter had a difinite hand in this one. This movie had zero direction and was 2 hours a 40 minutes of aimless acting, violence and confusion. What happened here? What happened to Happily Ever After?

Someone who really saw the movie in japan allready - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

Not sure how all these ratings get out there ?!? on 24th when the movie supposed to be released in the evening of 24th and right now it is 23:53 in JAPAN. Arrrr, I actually just got back from the movie and have to say that it is well worth the money, that is for sure. Jack sparrow is still funny, Elizabeth still brave and cute, William still gets torchered and survives. Story is a little confusing with the old characters, especially David Jones character appeals to pitty more then to "The Bad Guy". Visuals are extremely well done, the monkey allmost not be thought aniamted in some parts of the movie. Ending leaves an enigma to me, little dissapointed, I had it expected a little more at "Worlds End". Time flew by, so it keept me focused and belive me, that means something. All in all a very entertaining movie. Arrr, so what are you waiting for, get out there and raise the blade.

This movie was a scam - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

Trying to be awake the whole movie is a challenge, do yourself a favor and skip this movie, no direction, no story, complete mix up of lousy ideas, at least the nachos were good!

Terrible movie - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

I can't believe so many rate this movie as good. They obviously like being tormented for 3 hours. The story was non-existent, the acting (Johnny Depp) horrible, and the ending disappointing. The only highlights were the visuals during the sailing shots. That is not, however, reason enough to sit for 3 hours to see this film. It was quite possibly the worst movie I have ever paid to see. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY FROM POTC 3!

Waste of time - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

usually out of a three hour movie you would expect a good plot with some twists and a solid ending to wrap it up. Not the case here. In Pirates 3, there are so many twists, so many odd scenes ans so few scenes of worth that it was very difficult to understand and follow the movie let a lone enjoy it. Although acting was good and the visuals looked great, not much can make up for a poor cinematic experience that leaves the viewers in confusion and frustration.
