At wit's end: blockbuster or blockheaded bomb? - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

This movie is by far the worst ever big franchise movie in the history of big franchise movies. What the hell were you thinking, Jerry? I know you try to make movies that turn every sprocket hole into a dollar, but this is the limit. Despite Pirates' budget, cast, special effects and hype, Disney/Bruckheimer company seem to have forgotten the basic rule that a film student learns in her first class - if there's no story, there's no movie. In this movie, Johnny Depp is fake, Orlando Bloom is overshadowed by too many other character, and Keira Knightly is too beautiful to be the Captain of a pirate ship. I'd like my money and my 147 minutes back, but I know what the producers' will say -- Take what you can, give nothing back".
