Truly mind numbing! - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

I am amazed at how many people say that this movie is awesome?! It was basically yelling and action scenes with no clear purpose flashing across the screen. (ADD anyone?) I really liked the first two movies and have been waiting for this one to come out. So my wife and I go and see it...it literally made my head hurt. I have an IQ of 135 and I could not follow the plot or the dialogue! There are so many twists and turns that make no sense that I can not even really list them all here. But I'll try. Like the movie starting in Singapore, then instantly changing scenes to the Carribean in less than 3 months. Like Davy Jones, Calypso, 9 pieces of eight, the Black Pearl, Will's dad, Jack Sparrow being in some trippy afterlife with stone crabs and many clones of himself, a giant Calypso-goddess roaring after the pirates "released" her from her earthly body...by now you get the point that this movie stinks! Really, really stinks! Like another reviewer, I found it impossible to keep from laughing out loud after the first 2 painful hours of this film. Truly the worst movie that I have seen in years. Please do not let one of these people talk you in to it! I am not a movie cynic who thinks that everything is terrible. This movie was.
