Pirates but a little too off for me. - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

I wasn't expecting the 3rd installment of pirates to end this way, you know when something seems so different that you question if it was ever there to begin with? That's the feeling I had from watching 3, I've never seen a Pirates Installment with such dead space, there were these periods of nothingness and I question why they were there to begin with. There were just too many story lines for my one-track mind and the characters themselves seemed somewhat out of character. The stark contrast of this darker 3 caught my by surprise because the first movies were more sunny and fun. I had no idea why or how all of these complications came across and I don't get why it had to go wrong.
