Potc 3 - what were they thinking - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Reviews

This movie was so disappointing that I cannot believe it was even released. The plot felt like it was run through a shredded and then pieced back together. It should have stayed in the shredder. Several major sub-plots were left dangling, as if there were a team of writers and they never talked to each other. It was bad enough that POTC 2 had no ending, but to sit through almost three hours of drivel to go nowhere was horrid. The action sequences were not well shot or choreographed. Jump cuts were used, not to enhance the action, but to piece together random bits. The one decent fight sequence was so late in the movie and so poorly edited as to make it anti-climatic. Is the public so inured to video games that motion on the screen passes for theater. Giving Disney any more money to see this movie is an insult to good action movies and us, the public.
